2003 Downtown Holiday Guide
The Downtown Seattle Holiday Guide is a big project. Lots of content, lots of dates to
check, and it has to be dropped before Thanksgiving. The most unique thing about this
project though is the die cut across the top. It gave the printer some trouble, so to
show us what could be done he brought a sample of the newly released Chutes Too Narrow
CD by The Shins.
Why? Because his shop did all the printing for the CD, and if you bought the disc in
the store you know that there is a fairly intricate die cut folded into the cover.
The model for the 2003 Downtown Seattle Holiday Guide was The Shins new CD. I still think
that's pretty rad.
