This ad is ugly. No doubt. But it was extremely effective. In fact, this ad generated $60 million dollars in deposits
and grew the credit union to $420 million
in total assets. We had to shut it down early.
We ran ads in the Seattle Times, Puget Sound Business Journal and sent postcards to
non-members around each branch. Below is the ad from the Puget Sound Business Journal.
